Our business strategies are designed around the mission to elevate and enhance your goals for a successful meeting or event to help you find the right speaker. Each step of our process is defined by our passion and professionalism. We can’t wait to get started on your next project!
1: MEET YOUR ADVOCATE
A Goodman Speakers partner is dedicated to work with you, from speaker selection through show-time. Other team members will support logistical details along the way, but your advocate is always right there for you, 24/7. The process starts with a conversation: questions around your goals, your audience, and your desired results.
The next step is our own project brief. This combines your business goals and all the details of your event. The purpose is to ensure we understand the task at hand, what you hope to
accomplish, your budget, and other important details. And, it serves as our roadmap.
3: RESEARCH, IDEATION & CURATION
This is where the magic begins! We use our industry knowledge and experience—combined with what we know about you, your mission, and criteria—to identify the best-qualified speakers. We may start with a very long list, ultimately curating three or four speaker selections for your review.
Your proposal includes a curated list of speakers—along with their biography, video, topics, fee and confirmed availability. Our proposals include thoughtful, objective insights on who might be the best fit, based on what we know of you, your business, the topic, meeting goal and theme.
Once you and your team have chosen the speaker who is the best fit for your particular assignment, Goodman Speakers prepares works behind the scenes to combine all of the
information and details needed to make the offer to the speaker.
6: FIRM OFFER
A draft offer is prepared with the necessary terms. At this time, any special requests for the
speaker (e.g. book signings, receptions, 1:1’s with exec team) are spelled out. We work closely with you to ensure to dot the proverbial i’s. The offer, and opportunity, is then presented to the speaker.
7: GREEN LIGHT!
Your offer is accepted! A signed agreement is delivered to all. Now, we get back to work…
8: SPEAKER PREP
We brief the speaker by providing relevant business background and insights on your current business climate. We ensure that meeting goals, key players, and desired outcomes are clearly set out. At this point,special requestsand needs are addressed that might not be part of the formal offer.
We manage all of the details: the speaker’s itinerary, travel and logistics. While problems are thankfully an exception, it’s our job to be ready just in case. If there’s ever a problem such as a weather cancellation (it’s rare, but things do happen), we’ll take care of it through our network of speakers.
10: EVENT ADVANCE SHEET
We provide a final itinerary for your team and the speaker prior to the event, including information regarding hotel arrangements, flights, schedule of events, information on the speaker/organization and any other vital details. This includes phone numbers to reach all parties should the need arise to discuss any last minute issues.
11: YOUR MAINSTAGE EVENT
We continue to manage all the details, whether we’re on-site or with you behind the scenes … ensuring the speaker delivers what we’ve collectively set out to accomplish.
12: WRAP UP & RESULTS
Our service doesn’t end when the curtain calls. We see your project through to final billing. More importantly, we follow up with you—and your speaker—to debrief, assess, evaluate and discuss results.
There is no fee or up-charge for these comprehensive services.
