As we close in on fall, in a year of many uncertainties and many firsts for us as a company and an industry, there is some familiarity and comfort in the changing of the season. Fall brings a feeling of something new yet comfortable, and the smells and sounds we know and love. We see pumpkins and Halloween decorations coming out, even though we don’t know what the upcoming months or holidays will look like. We know one thing for sure, for us, at Goodman Speakers, we are orange all year but October means pink! It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, a month about survivors and warriors.
As a team, we are committed to doing what we can on a local and personal level. For us, Breast Cancer is personal, it has cut us deep, but it has made us stronger and made us love harder. We encourage you to find your tried and true cause, whatever it may be, and regardless of all of the uncertainties, show your love and support as you always have. In a time where we say that we are in this together, some people are fighting on a very personal level, for their health, or the health of a loved one. This October, please join us to spread love and strength for those fighting, surviving, healing, praying, loving, carrying, and hoping. In a year where walks and runs may not exist, large fundraisers can’t execute, volunteers can’t hug, donations don’t flood in- we can still show up, we can still spread love and positivity, we can still wear pink!
We are sending love to the survivors, strength to the warriors, and hope to the friends and family. If you can give anything at all, please visit www.brightpink.org to help empower women to know their risk and manage their health proactively.
Sincerely,
Jenna Jorge
