Jim Gilmartin has emerged as one of America`s experts on marketing and sales to baby boomer and older customers (born before 1965). A frequent keynote speaker, presenter and trainer at professional conferences and on-site engagements, he presents to national and international audiences on strategies to improve marketing and increase sales to Baby Boomer and senior customers.
Jim co-authored Market Smart: The Best in Age and Lifestyle Specific Design, writes a monthly blog for Media Posts, EngageBoomers and has authored hundreds of articles on these rapidly growing and lucrative markets for many industry publications and national and international media.
In addition to his knowledge of how to secure and retain these markets, Jim brings to his engagements the experience of more than 30 years experience in business development, marketing and sales leadership positions. Serving as president and CEO of two subsidiary corporations and as senior vice president for a Chicago-based international health care system, Jim provided leadership to position the system as a leading provider of products and services to Baby Boomer and senior customers.
Since 1991, and as its founding principal, Jim has provided leadership to Oakbrook Terrace, IL based Coming of Age.
