Clint Swindall Profile
Clint Swindall is the seasoned speaking professional you need --- engaging, entertaining, and absolutely unforgettable --- both in-person and as a virtual keynote speaker. He understands the power of engagement. He understands the critical roles both leaders and employees play in building a culture of engagement and how a focused effort is required in this new world where leaders now have accountability for remote workers.
Organizations across the nation have been using his ideas to enhance the way people lead themselves and those around them. As the president and CEO of Verbalocity, Inc., a personal development company focusing on leadership enhancement, Clint has delivered his programs throughout the United States, Canada, South America, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. For the past two decades, he has delivered high-content presentations as a leadership keynote speaker in an entertaining and inspirational style to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, school districts, and trade associations.
Clint enjoys the challenge of enhancing employee engagement for his clients by delivering programs based on his book entitled Engaged Leadership: Building a Culture to Overcome Employee Disengagement (John Wiley & Sons). He recognizes that a culture of employee engagement is a two-way road. True engagement comes when leaders and employees are both doing their part --- while holding people accountable for their contribution. In addition to working with leaders to build a culture to overcome employee disengagement, he addresses the employee's role in his follow-up book entitled Living for the Weekday: What Every Employee and Boss Needs to Know about Enjoying Work and Life (John Wiley & Sons).
Clint recognizes that while leaders need to be accountable for building a culture of engagement, employees need to be inspired to contribute to the culture in a meaningful way. In addition to his work with leaders, Clint is a skilled motivational keynote speaker you can depend on to educate, entertain, and engage your audience. Off the platform, he encourages everyone to move past the negativity in their lives in his book entitled Tell Me Somethin' Good!: A Simple Guide to Overcoming Negativity, while hosting a weekly podcast titled Tell Me Somethin' Good!
As a recipient of the Certified Speaking Professional designation, the speaking profession's international measure of professional platform competence, Clint is among the top echelon of professional speakers. This international designation is held by just 17 percent of members of the National Speakers Association worldwide.
Clint does more than talk about leadership. His leadership roles in the community include serving as a director of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and the board of directors for GVTC, the largest telephone cooperative in the state of Texas. He is the founder and chairman of the First Chance Foundation, a 501(c)3 dedicated to assisting abandoned, abused, and neglected children. He is a past board member of the Texas State University Alumni Association, Executive Committee of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, Junior Achievement of South Texas, and Provisions Food Pantry.
He and his wife Heather of 18 years reside just north of San Antonio in Bulverde, Texas … the front door to the Texas Hill Country. When he's not working to enhance his clients' leadership skills through his Leadership Competency Model, he can be found pursuing his hobby of competition BBQ!
