Len Dawson was one of the most accurate passers in pro football history, ending his career with an astonishing 82.6 career passing rating. He quarterbacked the Kansas City Chiefs to three NFL championships. The high point of Len's career was not playing in the very first Super Bowl, but rather playing in Super Bowl IV, when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the heavily favored Minnesota Vikings 23-7. He was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
Dawson retired in 1976, after 19 years in professional football. He was honored for his achievements in 1987, with his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
